I was a the beach with my family and spotted a mink that had pulled a flat fish from the ocean and hide under a rock to devour it. I happened to have my camera and spent the next hour or so watching and photographing as the mink continued to bring different delectables back to its hidden lunch spot. I was able to get a photo just as the mink, kelp crab in mouth, made a jump from one barnacle covered stone to the next. I kept my distance and was able to watch until it had ate it's fill. At that point it called out and another mink came. I assume it was a mating pair taking turns away from it's young. My mink friend left and the new one stayed to pull treats from the ocean.
